- Licenses: MI
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS
- Fellowship: Preferred
Duties & Responsibilities - Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and PEG tube placement.
- Manage inpatient consultations and provide overnight and weekend call coverage.
- Review pathology results and communicate with nursing staff to relay findings and follow-up recommendations to patients.
- Document all procedures and patient encounters in the EMR systems (Cerner, Athena, Paragon, EndoPro).
- Collaborate with the Endo Unit team to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient procedure room utilization.
