JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: NP – Active certification through AANP or ANCC FNP preferred; PA – Active certification through NCCPA
- Licenses: Active unrestricted MI license, MI Controlled Substance license, DEA with MI address, prescriptive authority
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA with MI address and MI Controlled Substance license required
- Certifications: ACLS through AHA required
- Experience: New grads accepted; new graduate training program available
- Other Qualifications: Two years of case logs required; Medical Director approval required for Delineation of Privileges; In-person hospital orientation required before privilege approval
DUTIES & RESPONSIBIILITIES- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a hospitalist setting.
- Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
- Perfrm and document medical procedures within the scope of practice and delineation of privileges.
- Collabrate with attending physicians, specializedists, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Adhere to facility credentialing, privileging, and hospital orientation requirements.
