PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE - Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM)
- Licenses: Active Texas License (or ability to obtain)
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA and Controlled Substance Registration required
- Experience: Emergency Medicine residency trained and/or continuous EM practice experience
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED
- Manage high-volume ED (49,500 annual visits) with a team of physicians and APPs
- Collaborate with specialty backup including Cardiology, General Surgery, Neurology, etc.
- Participate in cross-credentialing across multiple Valley Baptist facilities
- Work variable shifts covering 24/7 ED coverage (6a-4p, 10a-8p, 4p-2a, 8p-6a)
