Finance Operations Specialist

Our client, a growing organization in the Princeton, NJ area, is seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to join its collaborative finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys a diverse role supporting expense management, accounts payable, purchasing, corporate credit cards, and general finance operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across departments to resolve issues and keep financial processes running smoothly.
What You'll Do
Process invoices and help ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
Support expense management, including auditing, accruals, and employee inquiries
Monitor and respond to questions related to expenses and expense reporting
Support the Purchase Order process, including creation and maintenance
Assist with corporate credit card administration, including issuance, maintenance, and resolving discrepancies
Perform account reconciliations and assist with general accounting and finance activities
Research and resolve financial and expense-related issues
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and ensure timely resolution of issues
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
1-3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
Hands-on experience with Concur is required
Experience with D365 / Business Central (B365) is strongly preferred
Working knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and revenue recognition
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with employees and teams across an organization
Pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience is a plus
