SayGo Home Loans is seeking a Sales Trainer to join our Scottsdale, AZ office. In this role, you'll design and deliver sales
training for our loan officer team - equipping them to convert inbound calls generated by our direct mail marketing
campaigns into closed loans. This is a full-time, on-site, salaried position ideal for someone who is energized by coaching,
curriculum development, and measurable improvement in team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, deliver, and continuously improve sales training programs for new-hire onboarding and ongoing development of
loan officers.
• Coach loan officers on phone-based sales techniques for converting inbound direct mail leads into applications and
closed loans.
• Develop training materials, call scripts, playbooks, and role-play exercises tailored to the mortgage sales process.
• Monitor and evaluate loan officer call quality and conversion metrics, providing individualized coaching and feedback.
• Partner with sales leadership to identify skill gaps and build targeted training plans to close them.
• Lead onboarding training for newly hired loan officers, ramping them to productivity quickly.
• Track and report on training effectiveness, tying programs to measurable gains in conversion and production.
• Stay current on mortgage loan products, compliance requirements, and sales best practices to keep training content
accurate and relevant.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in sales training, sales coaching, or sales management within the mortgage industry required.
• Strong understanding of the mortgage loan origination process and phone-based sales techniques.
• Excellent presentation, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
• Experience building training curriculum, scripts, or playbooks.
• Comfortable analyzing call and production metrics to drive coaching decisions.
• NMLS license a plus but not required for this role.
