The Greer Group is hiring Forklift Operators and Material Handlers for our client located in Claremont, NC! This is a great opportunity to grow with a company and start off your career!
Temp to Hire! Warehouse Operations for Dauch formerly GKN Newton Operation.
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm $18/hr
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm $19.10/hr
- 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm - 6:30am $19.10/hr
- Hybrid Day: Saturday/Sunday 12 hours - 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM
- Hybrid Night: 2 weeknights of choice 8 hours - 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Hybrid shift can also work for full-time hours other days!
- After Temp to HIre probationary period, Pay increases to $21/hr
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently drive a forklift ( 2 years + experience).
- Driving on and Off trailers and able to move material without damage.
- Pick orders to stage / locate into proper area. Some labeling and scanning will be involved.
- Able to use RF scanner in a warehouse management system.
- Keep updated records, inventory accuracy, audits, and documents.
- Comply with Company Policies and standards.
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
- 2 Years + Forklift experience
- Worked in warehouse environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work overtime included on weekends.
- Must be able to train on 1st shift for 1-2 weeks depending on how long your individual training takes.
