About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Amada press brakes and controllers, ensuring precision and efficiency in sheet metal fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Amada press brakes to produce parts to specification
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop travelers
- Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools
- Adjust machine settings and tooling to maintain tolerances
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Proven experience operating press brakes, specifically Amada controllers
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and bend allowances
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
