Hiring: Senior Security Engineer
? Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure, Windows systems, Microsoft cloud technologies, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate should have a solid systems engineering background along with practical security engineering experience.
WHAT WE NEED

- Hands-on senior systems engineering experience with Windows Server, Active Directory (AD), Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and PowerShell.
- Strong experience managing hybrid infrastructure and independently troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Practical security engineering experience, including SIEM/EDR monitoring, incident investigation, vulnerability management, and infrastructure hardening.
- Security monitoring experience.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms.
- SentinelOne experience.
- Darktrace experience.
- Vulnerability management experience, including Qualys scanning and remediation.
- Strong general infrastructure and systems engineering experience.
Candidates with relevant hands-on experience in these areas will be given priority.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, security engineering, or infrastructure security.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure.
- Solid understanding of hybrid identity, MFA, Conditional Access, and least-privilege access.
- Practical experience with SIEM/EDR monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and security hardening.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- SentinelOne, Darktrace, Qualys, Tanium, Zscaler, and/or Okta.
- SIEM/EDR administration, security-log ingestion, and detection engineering.
- Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI and VMware-to-Azure Local migrations.
- Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Cloud infrastructure migrations and automated operational reporting.
- CISSP, GIAC, Microsoft, Azure, or other relevant security certifications.
