Operate a clamp forklift in an indoor warehouse, handling appliances throughout nearly the entire shift. Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, distribution center manager, and shipping and receiving lead, this role supports safe, accurate material movement and shipment preparation.
Responsibilities
- Operate a clamp forklift to move and position appliances.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Handle, secure, and stage loads for shipment.
- Move inventory and conduct inventory counts.
- Pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Complete safety inspections and identify equipment issues.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance as required.
- Coordinate warehouse activities and prepare shipments.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of forklift operation experience.
- OSHA-compliant forklift operator certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clamp forklift operation experience.
- Experience with load securing and pallet handling.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Knowledge of safety compliance and equipment inspection.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
