JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM)
- Licenses: Active AR Medical License, Active DEA with AR address
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS required
- Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine required
- Other Qualifications: Must commit to at least 3 shifts per month; ABPS not accepted
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a Level III trauma center
- Manage high-acuity patients including trauma, medical, and surgical emergencies
- Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and suturing
- Collaborate with nursing staff and specialty backup for patient management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Meditech EMR
