Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Duty Truck Technician
Sioux City, IA | $30–$40/hr | Monday–Friday day shift | No Weekends
Good diesel techs are hard to find. We’re looking for one.
If you’ve spent time turning wrenches on Class 6–8 trucks, you know the job isn’t just swapping parts. We need a mechanic who can diagnose the problem, find the root cause, fix it right and get the truck back on the road.
This is a full-time shop position working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers — engines, drivetrains, electrical, hydraulics, brakes, suspension, HVAC and general repair.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Work on diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains and aftertreatment systems
- Chase down electrical and electronic issues using diagnostic equipment
- Repair hydraulic, brake, steering and suspension systems
- Perform PMs, inspections and general maintenance
- Read wiring diagrams and service information
- Figure out what's actually wrong instead of throwing parts at it
- Keep the shop moving and turn out quality work
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of heavy-duty diesel/truck repair experience
- Solid mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Comfortable with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting
- Own hand tools
- Valid driver's license

- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
