I am partnering with a well-established organization that is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee accounts payable operations and lead a high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional who enjoys improving processes, developing staff, and ensuring efficient financial operations.
The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership abilities with a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day AP functions while collaborating with internal stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the accounts payable function to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions
- Supervise, mentor, and develop team members
- Monitor workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Participate in the development and maintenance of internal controls and operational procedures
- Assist with issue resolution, vendor communication, and payment-related inquiries
- Prepare reporting and analysis to support management decision-making
- Collaborate with accounting and operational teams on process improvements and special projects
- Support audit requests and maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and help implement best practices across the department
Qualifications- Previous experience in managing accounts payable, accounting operations, or a related finance function
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
