LHH has an immediate need for a Plant Controller. Our client in an innovative and progressive manufacturing company that needs someone with excellent accounting skills in cost and inventory plus strong leadership skills to develop and manage a team. You will work directly with the CFO on strategy initiatives and help execute new policies to create more efficiencies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to manage all accounting and finance functions including month end close, general ledger and journal entries, and financial reporting
- Lead and develop a team of accounting and finance professionals
- Handle internal controls, assist with the annual audit, and support company initiatives
- Oversee tax compliance, research, and company policies
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- CPA/MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years in a leadership role
- Excellent technical skills with Excel and SAP
