DIESEL MECHANIC (FULL-TIME):
• Pay is $31-$40/hour depending on experience/certifications. Overtime paid after 40 hours.
• Shift is Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm. Overtime may be required occasionally for emergency equipment breakdowns.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 years of tractor and trailer inspection and repair -OR- technical school degree in HD Diesel Repair.
• Ability to perform intermediate level diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on HD tractors/trailers, on-track railroad equipment, MD fleet trucks, and ensure all work meets MNNR, F.R.A. and D.O.T. standards.
• Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance services and D.O.T. inspections/repairs across tires, lights, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and more.
• Take directions from and assist senior mechanics with repairs.
• Utilize SAMSARA Fleet maintenance system to determine inspection and maintenance schedules, and fully document repairs and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and government guidelines, including wearing PPE when necessary.
• Willingness and capacity to learn additional responsibilities and certifications on multiple equipment platforms.
• Willingness to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and DOT Physical.
• Valid Drivers license. Class A CDL preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer/email skills with Microsoft Office and Outlook. Experience with diagnostic software a plus.
