Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer II - Weld

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing engineering projects supporting machining, sheet metal, tooling, and related production processes.
- Analyze manufacturing requirements and determine appropriate methods, processes, tooling, equipment, and machinery to support efficient production.
- Design, develop, and continuously improve manufacturing systems and processes to achieve quality, productivity, and cost targets.
- Develop and validate engineering solutions through feasibility studies, testing, and implementation activities.
- Support the creation, application, and maintenance of engineering standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Evaluate manufacturing equipment, tooling, installations, and engineering processes to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement effective improvements through structured change management practices.
- Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and external partners to support project execution and manufacturing objectives.
- Support product development efforts by evaluating customer requirements and delivering practical manufacturing solutions.
- Manage assigned engineering activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within established objectives.
- Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to team members and stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably supporting machining, sheet metal fabrication, tooling, equipment, or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing process development, implementation, testing, and optimization.
- Experience developing and applying engineering specifications, standards, and documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical challenges.
- Strong project planning, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
- Ability to make sound decisions, manage competing priorities, and deliver on commitments.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices, engineering regulations, and risk management principles.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with production teams, suppliers, contractors, and engineering stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing or improving machining, sheet metal, tooling, or related manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot operational issues and implement practical engineering solutions.
- Experience coordinating projects with suppliers, subcontractors, and external engineering partners.
- Knowledge of feasibility testing, process validation, and performance evaluation methodologies.
- Strong technical writing skills, including engineering documentation, specifications, and reporting.
- Familiarity with project management, cost analysis, budgeting, and contract management.
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and influence diverse stakeholders.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline; OR
- Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
