Position Overview
Seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations and scientific research activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on laboratory experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow established protocols and standard operating procedures in a regulated laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory procedures and experiments according to established protocols and SOPs.
- Support laboratory activities involving LNP, mRNA, circular RNA, and sgRNA workflows.
- Perform sample preparation, handling, and processing while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Conduct dialysis and membrane-based sample processing using appropriate MWCO materials.
- Perform analytical assays and measurements, including RiboGreen and zeta potential analysis.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, data, and experimental results.
- Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, and laboratory protocols.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Assist with troubleshooting experiments and identifying potential issues with samples, equipment, or procedures.
- Work collaboratively with scientists and other laboratory personnel to support project goals.
- Follow applicable quality and compliance requirements, including ISO 9001 standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field preferred.
- Previous academic or laboratory experience preferred; entry-level candidates with relevant hands-on laboratory experience will be considered.
- Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Experience with nucleic acids, RNA, or biotechnology techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow written procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a laboratory team.
