Job Summary
We are seeking a Manual Machinist. This position can be full or part time, your choice: a young person looking for a job in a company where he can not only hone his manual machining skills but also expand into the CNC, quality and fabrication fields of manufacturing, or a retired manual guy who is looking for part-time work.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and perform basic repairs as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of machining processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
