PrideStaff on behalf of a client in Oakland Park, is seeking an energetic and professional CNC laser cutting operator to produce metal components that meet blueprint specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate CNC laser machines, adjust cutting parameters (gas pressure, speed, power), and run production.
- Load raw metal sheets and unload finished parts using material loader systems or forklifts.
- Verify first-off parts against technical drawings; run in-process inspections using calipers and tape measures.
- Perform daily machine cleaning, nozzle/lens inspections, and routine care.
- Maintain an organized workspace and collaborate with team members to hit daily output goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent shop experience.
- 2+ years of CNC laser set up and operation experience.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient with precision tools (caliper, tape measure) and machine control interfaces.
- Forklift / Combilift experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset.
Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening.
