A small company is working with LHH to identify a Payroll Specialist who is able to work part-time hours. You will have full ownership over the payroll processes and will be responding to employee inquiries. But the manager will handle benefit and HR duties. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of payroll processing experience and be comfortable navigating technology. The department will go through a system transition in the near future. This position can be done hybrid in Seattle, WA or fully remote for someone who has had previous experience onboarding and training remotely. Job duties:
- Process bi-weekly payroll
- Review and audit timecards
- Reach out for missing or incorrect timecards
- Troubleshoot and respond to employee inquiries
- Assist with updating employee records and supporting HR
- Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- At least five years of payroll processing experience
- Experience on payroll processing platforms like ADP, Paycom, etc.
- Ability to pick up new software systems quickly
- Professional communication skills
- Proven ability to work successfully in a mostly remote setting
- High attention to detail and high level of confidentiality
Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
