Welder/Fitter (class A and class B)
Welders will weld, cut, and braze metal pieces and products by using flame-cutting and hand welding lace equipment. Welders engage in the fabrication or assembly of structural iron or steel products such as bars, I-beams, channels, angles, tees, plates and other large metal members of a structure. In general, each fabrication project that we participate in is unique. These products are subsequently used by others in the construction of structures.
The fabricating these Welders do mean the laying out of the pieces, and the marking, cutting, sawing, drilling, punching, bolting, welding and assembly of the pieces into finished structural steel products.
