The HVAC Lead Installer is responsible for installing, connecting, commissioning, and troubleshooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role performs technical installation work, evaluates system loads, and guides customers through equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC equipment and related systems.
- Assemble and install ductwork.
- Handle refrigerants in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Commission systems and verify proper operation.
- Complete electrical connections.
- Conduct load assessments.
- Troubleshoot HVAC system issues.
- Lead customer walkthroughs on system operation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC installation.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- EPA Section 608 Technician Certification.
- Experience with HVAC installation, ductwork, and refrigeration systems.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and brazing.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Experience with HVAC diagnostics and safety procedures.
- Strong customer service skills.
