JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC required (Board Eligible)
- Licenses: Licensed in IN
- Certifications: BLS, ATLS
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide general surgery call coverage for inpatient cases during weekends (Thursday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM).
- Respond to emergency surgical consultations and perform necessary procedures.
- Manage trauma and acute surgical patients, including chest tube and central line insertions.
- Coordinate with hospitalist team for admissions and rounding on surgical patients.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and documentation in Epic EMR.
