JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Eligible (ABEM) required (must be board eligible as of Sept 1, 2026)
- Licenses: Active Virginia medical license required; DEA pending accepted
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA required (pending accepted)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients across multiple Valley Health sites
- Manage patient volume in a Level III trauma center with 495-bed capacity
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team including nursing and support staff
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR system
- Maintain compliance with credentialing and licensure requirements for all cross-credentialed facilities
