Wellstar is seeking a PRN Breast Sonographer to provide high-quality, patient-centered breast ultrasound imaging within our collaborative care teams. In this role, you will perform diagnostic breast sonography exams, optimize image quality, and support accurate interpretation by radiologists. You will verify patient identity, review clinical history, explain procedures, and provide compassionate support throughout the exam. The position requires strict adherence to safety and infection control standards, accurate documentation in the EMR, and proper equipment care. As part of a large, innovative not-for-profit health system, you will engage in ongoing education, maintain competencies, and partner across disciplines to improve outcomes for patients and communities.
