North Point Senior Homecare in Virginia Beach, VA is looking for a compassionate and dedicated PRN Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to senior clients in a home health setting
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
- Develop and follow individualized patient care plans in coordination with the care team
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding care needs
- Perform wound care, catheter care, and other clinical procedures as needed
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, agency policies, and homecare standards
Requirements:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Virginia
- Previous home health, geriatric, or senior care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
