We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Early Morning Delivery Driver to join our team and help deliver our baked goods with care and efficiency.
Job Overview: As an Early Morning Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring our fresh bakery products are delivered to customers, retailers, or other locations early in the morning. This position requires someone who is punctual, detail-oriented, and enjoys driving in the early hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive a company 18' box truck to deliver bakery products to designated locations.
- Ensure all products are loaded properly and securely to avoid damage during transit.
- Maintain a punctual schedule to ensure products are delivered on time.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues, ensuring the vehicle is always ready for safe use.
- Handle deliveries with care, maintaining the quality of our products and providing exceptional customer service.
- Assist with unloading and organizing deliveries at customer sites.
- Communicate with the bakery team regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Ensure all required delivery documentation (invoices, receipts, etc.) is completed and submitted accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations while driving.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Minimum age of 25 years old for Insurance Validation.
- Experience driving a box truck, delivery vehicle or similar is a plus.
- Fluent English is required to be able to speak with the team and customers.
- Uber / Lift is not a qualification.
- Ability to push, pull and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Background check and driving test will be performed.
Schedule:
- 5 days a week.
- Guaranteed Mondays off with another floating day off during the week.
- Early morning availability; shifts typically start at 2:30 AM to 3:00 AM.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the local area and delivery routes.
- Experience in food service or the bakery industry is a plus.
