Robert James Custom Metal is looking for welder fabricators to join our team. We fabricate steel and aluminum railings, gates, canopies, and other ornamental products. Your role would be creating metal assemblies by cutting, welding, and fabricating various materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. This position requires proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding techniques to complete medium-sized fabrication projects. The role involves interpreting blueprints, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality and safety compliance while collaborating regularly with engineering and design teams to meet project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform metal cutting, welding, and fabrication on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Interpret and follow blueprints and fabrication plans
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure adherence to specifications
- Maintain welding equipment and tools
- Handle materials safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with welding safety standards and protocols
- Assemble medium-sized metal assemblies accurately
Required Qualifications
