TL Search Group is seeking an experienced, hands-on Bilingual Distribution Center Supervisor to lead warehouse operations for a well-established event-services company. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to keep people, inventory, and deliveries moving safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, motivate, and provide daily direction to warehouse associates.
- Coordinate the accurate and timely loading and unloading of trucks.
- Ensure the correct inventory and equipment are prepared for scheduled events, deliveries, and customer pickups.
- Communicate with sales and field operations teams regarding schedules, job details, and last-minute changes.
- Oversee the return, cleaning, inspection, and restocking of rental inventory.
- Ensure damaged inventory is documented, processed, and repaired promptly.
- Monitor employee productivity, performance, attendance, and progress.
- Assist with employee training and the safe operation of warehouse equipment.
- Manage labor hours according to operational and event needs.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safety-focused warehouse.
- Participate directly in warehouse activities when operational support is needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least two years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, or delivery environment.
- Proven leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screening, and DOT physical.
- Ability to lift 20–40 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
- Willingness to work in a warehouse without consistent heating or air conditioning and occasionally outdoors.
- Availability to work more than 40 hours per week when needed, including weekends or on-call assignments based on scheduled events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with warehouse management or rental inventory software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Construction, outdoor fieldwork, event rental, or tent-installation experience.
