Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $24.79 per hour, plus overtime
- Estimated weekly pay: $1,000-$1,200
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Start times: Between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Employment type: Temp-to-perm
Job Details
- Route type: Local routes, primarily serving strip malls
- Freight: Various non-perishable products
- Equipment: Box trucks and sprinter vans
- Handling: Light-touch handling using lifts and dollies
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck on local delivery routes
- Deliver products to local stores and warehouses
- Perform required loading and unloading tasks using lifts and dollies
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
- Meet the physical demands of the position
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class C or Class D driver's license
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
