TransForce is seeking experienced CDL A Drivers for a full-time, year-round opportunity in Phoenix, AZ!
This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity with the goal of transitioning qualified drivers to full-time employment with the customer once conversion requirements are met.
Position Details - Monday through Friday schedule
- Optional Saturday shifts available
- 10-12 hour shifts
- Varied early morning start times, typically between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM
- $23.00 per hour
- Overtime paid after 40 hours
- Year-round work
- Primarily local deliveries throughout the Phoenix Valley
Equipment & Freight - May operate Dry Van, Reefer, and Flatbed equipment
- Freight may include:
- Wine and beer
- Costco freight
- Paper products
- General freight
- Approximately 95% drop-and-hook
- Some loading, unloading, or light labor may be required
- Strong backing skills are required for certain deliveries
Driver Requirements - Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 6 months of CDL A driving experience
- 1 year of experience preferred
- Strong backing skills
- Ability to navigate throughout the Phoenix Valley
- Stable work history
- Clean or acceptable MVR
- Ability to perform occasional loading/unloading when required
