The Industrial Maintenance Electrician plays a vital role within a small maintenance team, working independently to ensure the reliable operation of all industrial electrical equipment. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing motors, drives, control panels, PLCs, and various mechanical and electrical systems while strictly adhering to OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company-specific safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and components
- Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment
- Repair and replace motors, drives, control panels, and PLCs
- Install and wire electrical systems and control panels
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Diagnose issues using technical diagnostics tools
- Maintain motor controls and control systems
- Document maintenance activities and repairs
- Provide technical support to the maintenance team
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in industrial electrical maintenance
- Proficiency with AC/DC circuits and PLC troubleshooting
