Licensed Mental Health Clinician – Psychologist, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT Vita-Cog Community Health 2484 Caring Way, Suite B Port Charlotte, FL 33952 Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Schedule: Part-time or full-time; flexible scheduling Work Setting: In-person, telehealth, or hybrid About the Position Vita-Cog Community Health is expanding in Port Charlotte, and we are looking for compassionate, experienced, and dependable licensed clinicians to join our multidisciplinary practice. We welcome applications from Florida-licensed psychologists, LMHCs, LCSWs, and LMFTs who are interested in providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families. The ideal candidate is professional, collaborative, comfortable working independently, and interested in developing a consistent caseload. Responsibilities - Provide evidence-based individual, couples, and/or family therapy within your areas of competence - Complete clinical intakes and develop individualized treatment plans - Maintain timely, accurate, and insurance-compliant documentation - Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as appropriate - Coordinate care with other providers when clinically indicated - Follow all ethical, legal, HIPAA, and practice requirements - Maintain a reliable schedule and communicate professionally with patients and administrative staff - Participate in team communication and clinical collaboration as needed Minimum Qualifications - Active and unrestricted Florida license as a psychologist, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT - At least one year of clinical experience following independent licensure - Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology, or a master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field - Experience providing psychotherapy - Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills - Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team - Professional liability insurance - Ability to pass all required background screenings Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families - Experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, behavioral concerns, relationship difficulties, or life transitions - Experience working with insurance-based patients - Experience providing telehealth services and using electronic health records - Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus - Evening or Saturday availability is a plus What We Offer - Flexible scheduling - In-person, telehealth, and hybrid options - Administrative, billing, and scheduling support - Referrals and assistance with caseload development - Comfortable, welcoming office environment - Opportunities to collaborate with psychologists, neuropsychologists, psychiatric providers, medical providers, and other behavioral health professionals - A supportive and growing multidisciplinary practice - Opportunities for professional growth as our Port Charlotte location expands To Apply Please submit your résumé through Indeed.
