Job Summary
We are hiring a Low Voltage to install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage and telecommunications systems.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in low-voltage, telecommunications, structured cabling, or network infrastructure who enjoys hands-on technical work and problem-solving.
Technicians will work on a variety of commercial and telecommunications projects throughout Southern California. Travel to different job sites is required based on project needs.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain low-voltage, structured cabling, and telecommunications systems
- Install and troubleshoot Cat5e/Cat6 network cabling
- Assist with fiber optic installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting as needed
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment, cabling, and system issues in the field
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Install and support telecommunications and network equipment
- Complete cable labeling, organization, and documentation
- Follow project requirements and company safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Travel to different job sites throughout Southern California
- Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and project partners
- Think critically and find solutions when unexpected issues arise
- Learn new equipment, techniques, and procedures on the job
Qualifications
- Previous experience in low-voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, or related installation preferred
- Strong hands-on skills and mechanical aptitude
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Able to learn on the go and adapt to changing job-site conditions
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of network cabling and communication systems
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Ability to read basic diagrams and installation documents
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to travel between multiple job sites as required

Vehicle Requirement

Additional Information
This is an in-person position with 100% travel required. Applicants should be comfortable working at various commercial and telecommunications job sites throughout Southern California and occasional out of state travel.
