Welder
Location: San Marcos, TX
Pay: $22–$25/hr. DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time
Job Summary
Precast concrete manufacturer seeking an experienced Welder to support production by welding and fabricating metal components used in precast concrete manufacturing. This may include rebar assemblies, steel forms, frames, brackets, supports, and other components.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding and general metal fabrication.
- Weld and assemble rebar, steel forms, frames, brackets, and supports.
- Read basic measurements, drawings, and work instructions.
- Use hand and power tools safely.
- Inspect welds and finished work for quality.
- Make adjustments and repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous MIG welding experience required.
- Experience with steel, rebar, fabrication, or construction materials preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow basic drawings or instructions.
- Comfortable working in a concrete manufacturing environment.
- Able to stand, bend, lift, and work with materials throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and strong safety awareness required.
