Job Description Job Description America Stone and Cabinet LLC is looking for a dependable and responsible Forklift Operator / Delivery Driver to join our warehouse and delivery team.
This position includes warehouse work, forklift operation, unloading shipping containers, loading and unloading quartz/stone slabs, preparing customer orders, and making local deliveries.
Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift safely to move quartz slabs, stone materials, and other warehouse products
Unload shipping containers and assist with container receiving
Load and unload stone slabs safely using proper equipment and procedures
Inspect incoming containers and materials for visible damage
Count and verify received materials against packing lists
Prepare and verify customer orders before delivery
Load delivery trucks and properly secure materials
Make local deliveries to customers and job sites
Assist with warehouse organization and inventory handling
Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures when required
Perform basic daily inspections of forklifts and delivery vehicles
Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and loading area
Follow all company safety procedures
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Forklift operating experience preferred
Warehouse, container unloading, or delivery experience preferred
Experience handling stone slabs or building materials is a plus
Must be dependable, punctual, and responsible
Must be comfortable working around heavy stone materials
Must be able to perform physical warehouse work as needed
Must follow safety procedures at all times
Must be able to communicate professionally with customers
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday work as needed.
