MEDICAL ASSISTANT OR LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)
Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Pay: $18.00–$24.00 per hour
Schedule: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

A growing wellness clinic is seeking an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, comfortable using computers, and able to work well with patients. Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliable transportation are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet patients and provide friendly, professional service
• Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to patient questions
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
• Check patients in and out
• Enter and update patient information accurately in the computer system
• Obtain and document patient information and vital signs
• Maintain accurate medication and medical-supply inventory
• Count and document medications and supplies according to clinic procedures
• Prepare and administer injections when permitted by training, licensing, and scope of practice
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist with patient care
• Collect payments and provide receipts
• Keep patient rooms and work areas clean, sanitized, and organized
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
• Assist providers and other team members as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous medical-office or clinical experience required
• Medical Assistant certification or an active Florida nursing license preferred, as applicable
• Computer literate and comfortable learning scheduling and patient-record systems
• Excellent telephone, communication, and customer-service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Trustworthy and comfortable handling confidential patient information
• Successful completion of a background check is required
