Position: Cherry Picker Operator
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Cherry Picker Operator to join a fast-paced warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely operating a cherry picker and other warehouse equipment to move, pick, store, and prepare products for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a cherry picker and other material-handling equipment.
- Pick and move products to the correct warehouse locations.
- Load and unload materials from trailers as needed.
- Verify product numbers, quantities, and locations before moving materials.
- Assist with wrapping, banding, weighing, and packaging products.
- Follow all warehouse and equipment safety procedures.
- Maintain an organized and safe work area.
- Complete other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of warehouse or equipment operating experience preferred.
- Previous cherry picker experience strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working at heights of up to 20 feet.
- Ability to read and follow basic work instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Good attention to detail and safety.
- Ability to work in areas with changing temperatures.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift.
- Frequent reaching, bending, carrying, and stooping.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials as required.
- Must be comfortable safely operating powered warehouse equipment.
