OTR Truck Driver — 2+ Years Experience
Job Summary:
Experienced OTR (Over-the-Road) Truck Driver with 2+ years of commercial driving experience. Responsible for safely transporting freight across regional and nationwide routes while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment on long-haul and interstate routes.
- Transport and deliver freight on time while maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and company safety policies.
- Secure and inspect cargo to ensure safe transportation.
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and receivers.
- Manage trip planning, routing, fuel stops, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and other required paperwork.
- Keep the truck and equipment clean and properly maintained.
- Demonstrate excellent safety awareness and professional driving habits.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of OTR or commercial tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Clean and safe driving record.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service.
- Ability to operate independently and meet delivery deadlines.
- Reliable, responsible, and professional work ethic.
- Willingness to travel and spend extended periods on the road.
