- Occasional longer regional runs may be required (with advanced notice)
Job Description:
Redbone Trucking is seeking reliable and professional Class A CDL Local Drivers to join our growing team! This position offers consistent home daily time, competitive hourly pay, and a supportive, driver-first company culture. You'll primarily operate within local and regional lanes with occasional extended runs based on freight needs primarily making "last mile delivery" runs.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a late-model Class A commercial vehicle
- Transport freight on local routes and occasional longer runs
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Follow DOT and company safety standards
- Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding scheduling or load changes
- Handle drop-and-hook + live load and unload deliveries all being no-touch freight (varies by route)
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience required for this position
- Clean driving record and current DOT medical card
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including potential longer runs
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism
