Job Description

We are seeking a Metal CAD Drafter/ Detailer to become a part of our team!

Responsibilities:

Find and articulate solutions to follow architectural and design intent
Take Accurate Field Dimensions as required.
Prepare and draft Blueprint documents to scale incorporating all the details of the drawing on behalf of clients and production shop according to the standards and terms.
Accurately interpret and convert custom orders into detailed shop drawings and sketches.
Collaborate with design and production team to ensure accuracy and anticipate issues.
Organize, prioritize work and follow up.
Generate Float Charts for large projects.
Be able to generate BOL's and manual documents.
Perform administrative and management functions related to the generation of shop drawings, create as DXF files for CAD/CAM applications and generate purchase orders.
Store all the drawings in an organized manner.

Qualifications:

To have a reasonable knowledge about construction manufacturing, design principles, hardware, metal shapes and applications.
To have reasonable knowledge of building construction and timelines.
3-4 years verifiable Previous experience in CAD
Excellent command of AutoCAD 2D and 3D Modeling Programs.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Set goals and submit work on time.
Be a Self Starter.
Be a Team Player.
Ability to build rapport with clients and shop personnel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent ability to listen and follow directions.
Be fully fluent in the English language
Work overtime as required.
Have transportation and be willing to travel as required.
Be authorized to work and live in the United States.
Real ID necessary for travel.
