The Weekend Baylor LPN at The Madison Health and Rehab is an integral member of the nursing team, dedicated to providing compassionate and skilled care to rehabilitation patients. Serving a patient load of 15 to 23 individuals per shift, the LPN supports patient recovery through thorough assessments, diligent medication administration, wound care, and consistent monitoring. This role requires commitment to every weekend, ensuring continuity and quality of care for residents in a supportive healthcare environment.
Hourly Rate is $25.50 per hour + $2 shift differential from 3p - 7a
Work a 12 hour shift Saturday and a 12 hour shift Sunday, receive an additional 6 hours
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to rehabilitation patients
- Administer medications safely and accurately
- Monitor and record vital signs consistently
- Perform wound care and dressings as needed
- Document patient care activities and assessments thoroughly
- Conduct patient assessments to monitor health status
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Assist patients with hygiene and daily living activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Proficiency in medication administration
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience in patient assessment and wound care
- Strong documentation skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Good time management skills
