Pool Repair Technician – 4+ Years Experience

Edge Pools is hiring an experienced Pool Repair Technician with a minimum of 4 years of professional pool repair experience.
This is not an entry-level or pool cleaning position. We need a technician who can independently diagnose problems, determine the correct repair, and complete work efficiently without constant supervision.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair pool and spa equipment
- Troubleshoot pumps, motors, filters, heaters, valves, plumbing, and circulation issues
- Diagnose automation and control-system problems
- Repair and replace equipment and components
- Install new pool and spa equipment
- Troubleshoot suction-side and pressure-side issues
- Perform pool-related electrical and plumbing troubleshooting within authorized scope
- Identify whether equipment should be repaired or replaced
- Document repairs, parts, photos, and follow-up needs
- Communicate promptly when additional parts or work are required
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Manage assigned work efficiently and minimize unnecessary downtime
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years professional pool repair experience – REQUIRED
- Strong independent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with pumps, motors, filters, heaters, valves, and plumbing
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Strong time management and productivity
- Reliable attendance and communication
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Preferred experience: Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, Waterway, automation systems, salt systems, heaters, commercial pools/spas, CPO certification, and manufacturer certifications.
What We're Looking For
A technician who is experienced, dependable, productive, and accountable. You should be able to receive a repair work order, diagnose the problem, determine what is needed, and move the job toward completion without needing step-by-step direction.
4+ years of hands-on pool repair experience is required. Pool cleaning/service experience alone does not meet this requirement.
