The Electrical Apprentice supports the Journeyman by assisting with various electrical tasks primarily in oil and gas facilities, commercial buildings, and industrial plants. This role involves hands-on experience with conduit installation, wire pulling, troubleshooting, and maintenance while adhering to safety standards and working closely with a Journeyman.
Responsibilities
- Install conduit systems according to project specifications
- Pull wiring through conduits safely and efficiently
- Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and resolve issues
- Assist Journeyman with daily electrical tasks and projects
- Maintain and care for tools and equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols and compliance regulations
- Conduct electrical testing under supervision
- Participate in local site visits as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in electrical work
- High School Diploma or equivalent
