Capitol Bedding has been a family-owned and operated company since 1946. We manufacture quality mattresses and box springs that are supplied to furniture dealers and hotels throughout Michigan.
We are looking to add a dependable, motivated team member to our manufacturing operation. Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
This position will primarily involve working in our factory, with occasional driving and delivery responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate is someone who is hardworking, reliable, willing to learn, and comfortable working as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the manufacturing of mattresses and box springs
- Perform a variety of tasks throughout the factory as needed
- Help with deliveries and driving when needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Work effectively as part of a team
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required
- Must have a clean driving record
- A Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required for driving responsibilities
- We are willing to train the right candidate to obtain their Class A CDL
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work in a physically active manufacturing environment
