Title: Chrome Inspector
Location: Germantown, WI
Job Summary:
Inspectors are responsible for monitoring product quality, identifying defects and discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inspection and inventory records. This is a highly visual role requiring the high-volume inspection of chrome tubes per day against blueprint specifications and quality standards. The position demands exceptional attention to detail, patience, and strong close-range vision to detect surface imperfections on reflective materials while maintaining accuracy and focus throughout the workday.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Production
- Uses gages to verify the conformance of products.
- Visual inspection of products to determine conformance to standards.
- Ability to make decisions concerning part conformance based on standards.
- Package products in correct containers and maintain correct quantity.
- General housekeeping duties
- Any tasks as determined by supervisory personnel.
- Adhere to all department policies and procedures.
- Train other personnel as required.
- Communicate with other departments to aid in maintaining part quality to acceptable standards.
- Complies with all safety programs.
Quality
- Performs and documents required visual and physical quality inspections.
- Assisting the Quality Department with any customer concerns/problems resolution.
- Correctly identifies and handles non-conforming products.
Leadership
- Participate in communicating, developing, and implementing best practices across company.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Computer literacy appreciated.
- This position is visually intensive requiring the inspector to view thousands of parts per shift, discipline and good vision is required.
