Quality Inspector / Quality Technician
Knoxville, TN | $20–$25/hr | Mon–Fri, 6:30 AM–4:00 PM | Full-Time
A well-established steel fabrication company in the Knoxville area is looking for a Quality Inspector to ensure fabricated steel components meet quality, dimensional, and workmanship standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Read blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols
- Identify defects and document inspection results
- Work with welders, fabricators, and supervisors to resolve quality issues
Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, welding, fabrication, or quality control
- Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
- Comfortable using precision measuring tools and working with tolerances
Preferred: Steel/plate fabrication, weld inspection, AWS/ASME/AISC exposure, or QA/QC experience.
Pay: $20–$25/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–4:00 PM
Full-time with opportunities for growth.
