Pay: $34-$40 per hour, based on experience
Anderson Electric Group, LLC is hiring an experienced Lead Electrician to oversee commercial and industrial electrical projects throughout Middle Tennessee.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can plan work, lead a crew, read drawings and specifications, coordinate with project management and general contractors, and keep projects moving safely and efficiently. We are looking for a dependable electrician who takes ownership of the job and maintains high standards for workmanship, productivity and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
• Lead electricians and apprentices on active commercial and industrial projects
• Plan daily work, assign tasks and monitor crew productivity
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and applicable codes
• Lay out electrical systems and installations from rough-in through completion
• Coordinate material, equipment and manpower needs
• Communicate project progress, changes and concerns with project management
• Complete daily reports, time records and other required job documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve field issues
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized jobsite
• Represent Anderson Electric Group professionally with customers, general contractors and other trades
• Train and mentor apprentices and less-experienced electricians
Qualifications:
• At least five years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
• Previous lead, foreman or crew-lead experience
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code
• Ability to read and work independently from electrical drawings and specifications
• Experience with conduit installation, feeders, branch circuits, panels, equipment connections and troubleshooting
• Ability to plan work and manage labor effectively
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Dependable attendance and reliable work history
• Journeyman or electrical license preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
• OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain it within 60 days
