Quality Engineer Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm $95,000-$120,000/year + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Ensure products and processes meet quality and regulatory requirements by developing, optimizing, and maintaining quality procedures.
- Identify and resolve assembly-related issues, implement process improvements, and provide customer support.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures (QMS, WI, SOPs, etc.).
- Investigate, document, and resolve production or customer issues (CARs, NCRs, RMAs, etc.).
- Design and implement continuous improvement projects to improve capability and performance.
- Host customers and audits.
- Review customer requirements via contract review with an emphasis on space addendum.
- Lead root cause investigations for systemic production or quality issues and implement sustainable corrective actions (CAPAs).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IPC, ISO, and AS.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, specifically J-STD-001 Space Addendum or NASA
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Hands-on continuous improvement mindset
- Six Sigma or Green Belt certification a plus!
- Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, J-STD-001S) a plus!
