About the Position
Our client is seeking Class A CDL Regional Drivers for dedicated routes based in Lancaster, Texas. Drivers will average approximately 2,200 miles per week while delivering palletized products throughout the region. This position offers guaranteed weekly pay, consistent routes, and the opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent employment.
Pay & Schedule
- Guaranteed pay of $1,800 or more per week
- $25 per stop after the first stop
- 40 hours per week
- Sunday through Thursday, returning around 1:00 p.m., or Monday through Friday, returning around 6:00 p.m.
- Anticipated start date: July 17, 2026
Job Details
- Regional and dedicated routes returning to Lancaster, Texas
- Average of approximately 2,200 miles per week
- Routes throughout Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma
- Weekly routes may include Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey
- Freight is transported on 48-foot rear lift-gated trailers
- Use an electric pallet jack to deliver products to the ground or onto receiving docks
- No hand unloading required
- All pallets are shrink-wrapped
- Most pallets weigh no more than 2,500 pounds and are no more than 6.5 feet high
- Drivers will train with a company driver for three to five days before operating independently
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle on regional routes
- Deliver palletized products using a 48-foot rear lift-gated trailer
- Operate an electric pallet jack for delivery and unloading activities
- Accurately complete bills of lading and stop documentation
- Follow all applicable safety, DOT, and FMCSA regulations
- Provide dependable and professional service at each delivery location
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Previous food service experience is strongly preferred
