TransForce is seeking dedicated CDL A Drivers for local delivery routes in Louisville, Kentucky. This position offers home-daily scheduling, competitive weekly pay, automatic equipment, and no-touch freight delivering automotive parts.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay rate: $24.97 per hour
- Guaranteed pay: $1,390 per week
- Extra-board pay: Up to $1,565 per week
- Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
- Hours: 8 to 14 hours per day
- Hours per week: 40
- Home daily
- Flexible dispatch times with second- and third-shift options available
Job Details
- Route type: Local delivery
- Freight: General freight, including automotive parts
- Equipment: 53-foot automatic tractor-trailer and day cab
- Handling: No-touch freight
- Operations may include drop-and-hook and live unload
- Routes remain within a 250-mile radius of Louisville, Kentucky
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an automatic-transmission tractor-trailer on local routes
- Pull 53-foot dry vans and transport general freight
- Complete drop-and-hook and live unload operations
- Deliver automotive parts within the assigned service area
- Maintain flexibility for various shifts, including nighttime driving
- Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
